What cover is in place for my valuables?

Your valuables are covered within the baggage section of your policy. We define valuables as; gold, silver, jewellery, precious metal or precious or semiprecious stone articles, watches, furs, cameras, camcorders, portable satellite navigation systems, photographic, audio, video, computer, television and telecommunications equipment (including MP3/4 players, CD’s, DVD’s, tapes, films, cassettes, cartridges and headphones), computer games and associated equipment, telescopes and binoculars.

Please note that mobile phones are not covered under any of our policies as standard and do not fall within the baggage section of cover.

The limits below represent the maximum amount payable in total per person, for valuables:

  • Bronze - £200
  • Silver - £200
  • Gold - £300
  • Platinum - £500

All possible care must be taken to safeguard valuables from loss or theft as these items are considered high risk. All possessions, including valuables, are not covered if left unattended. With valuables this would also include being carried in checked in luggage in the custody or care of a carrier, tour operator or public transport provider, or being left in an unattended vehicle at any time.

Please refer to your policy wording for full details of your cover.
