Sports and other Activities

Southdowns policies provide cover for you to participate on a recreational and non-professional basis in over 100 sports and activities as standard whilst on your trip. To ensure that you are protected in the event of a claim it is important that whilst participating in a listed activity you comply with local laws and regulations, as well as using the recommended safety equipment (such as helmets, harness, knee and/or elbow pads).
You will note that some sports are marked with an *, this means that there is no cover for either personal liability or personal accident when participating in these activities.
Please also be aware that our policies are not suitable for and will not provide cover for your participation in or practice of any professional sport or your participation at a training camp designed specifically to enhance your performance and/or endurance in a sport or activity that you take part in on a non-professional basis but at a National Standard.
